We had a great weekend at the Oregon Wedding Showcase in Eugene. We got to meet and chat with tons of brides (and some grooms) about filming/shooting their wedding. We can already tell that June and July are the hot months for 2009 weddings – wow.

If you didn’t get a chance to check us out there, we’ll be at the Central Oregon Wedding Showcase on January 31 in Redmond, Oregon. 

Earlier today we set up our booth at the Oregon Wedding Showcase here in Eugene. We’re excited to meet all the new couples looking for high quality wedding photos and cinematography tomorrow and Sunday. If you’re there, be sure to stop by. We’re just to the right as you enter the show. 

Bend Couples….We’re doing something exciting in Bend at the end of the month…we’re still trying to nail down details so can’t say much more right now, but check back if you’re an engaged couple from the Bend area…We should have something more on that early next week.

We totally understand people’s budget concerns  - and we’re more than aware of this down economy – but don’t let it stand in the way of professional video on your wedding day.

By all means, at the very least, have your day documented by one of our professional cinematographers. We’ll film your day using our high quality cameras and sound equipment and mail you  a DVD. 

If you want to come back later and get an edited Featurette, that can also be arranged. 

Whatever you do, don’t let your budget limitations deter you from a professional video on your wedding day! Next to photography, this is the most important thing you’ll spend your money on.

Here’s a quick sample we created of some HD weddings we shot in 2008. While last year it was an additional price to upgrade to HD, in 2009 it’s standard with ALL of our packages - and at no extra cost to our bride and grooms. 

One of the weddings in the video are from my cousin’s wedding last weekend in Orange County. I was there to be a guest – though i couldn’t resist snapping some pics and grabbing some video (with the new Canon 5D Mark II), so I included a couple of shots. I met some great photographers down there, (the shots that i saw were money) – Matthew and Molly Snelson of Mathieu Photography – I highly recommend them if you’re in that area. I appreciated their letting me take some pics on the side – sometimes other photographers get a bit territorial – but they were more than cool.
