Vivid Wedding Films

Here is just a tiny sneak peak from Chelsea and Tom’s wedding on August 7th, 2010. The ceremony was at the beautiful cathedral of St. Patrick and the reception was at the Crystal Plaza in New Jersey.

Here is a wedding trailer for Amby and Toby from July 3rd! I must say, Port Gamble Washington is one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever been to. Amby and Toby, your wedding was beautiful too, and I had a blast! It’s good to get back to the West Coast every once and a while.

Last Saturday we had the pleasure of shooting Jen + Bryan’s wedding out at Paradise Springs in Monroe, Oregon. The wedding was amazing and the location was great. As always it was great working with Karen of Avayah Photography and Casey of Destination Events.

Jen and Bryan were so much fun to work with and had some unique talents to bring to the table (backflips in a tux anyone?). You’ll see more of that in the Highlight edit (coming soon), but for now, here’s the teaser trailer. Enjoy.

On what felt like the hottest day of the year so far, Richard said to his beautiful bride, “YOU BET I DO!” This day was so much fun and full of friends, family and even games! You guys are awesome! Congratulations!

Emily and Dan got married on May 1, 2010 at Cabo Azul Resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.

It was an amazing wedding, at an amazing wedding venue with amazing people.

It was so much fun capturing the day, along with Jenny & Zac of Jenny Hill Photography. Check out a few initial photos Jenny posted from the rehearsal dinner and a quick photo shoot we did with Emily and Dan.

This past Saturday, April 3, we had the opportunity to film Nina and Chris’ wedding in Seattle, Washington. The weather was a bit iffy – with rain looming most of the day – but we managed to stay dry for the most part and got some really great imagery from the day.

Nina was an absolutely gorgeous bride and Chris (as you’ll see in the trailer) was awestruck when he first saw her walking up the isle (probably my favorite shot so far).

The ceremony took place at Seattle First Presbyterian Church in downtown Seattle, and the reception was on the banks of Lake Union at Blue Ribbon Cooking. It was great to work with the crew at Lifebox Studio (photographers) in capturing Nina and Chris’ day.

We don’t normally turn out trailers the day after the wedding, but since our flight from Los Angeles to Eugene got bumped, we had a few hours on our hands, and what better way to spend that time than putting together a trailer.

Here’s a quick look – a wedding day teaser – from Heather and Johnny’s wedding yesterday at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California.

Again, it was great meeting and working with photographer, Paul Thompson of Huntington House House Photography, their event coordinator, Mindy Roderick, Kim-Erin Justice, their florist and their DJ Kris of DJFX Entertainment.

Here’s also a look at their Love Story, which we filmed Friday. It played at their reception last night.

Here is Megan and Derek’s wedding film trailer. They were married Sunday evening at Sweet Cheeks Winery, just outside of Eugene.

It was a beautiful wedding and tons of fun to film. We had a 3-person crew from Vivid Wedding Films, capturing both still and motion pictures (photos to come soon to the blog). Derek and I go way back (middle school, I believe) and Megan and I actually worked a few days together at the ol’ Baskin & Robbins (Coburg Road, no longer there) when I was in college. Anyways, it made it fun to have so many friends at the wedding – and even seeing other couples there whose weddings we’ve filmed in the past (Jared & Amy, Sef & Cassidy + new baby!, Joe & Megan).

We were so impressed working with Stott Shots Photography and seeing the images they created of Lauren and Nathan’s wedding, where we produced a Same Day Edit, that we wanted to incorporate some of those images into another Highlight film from there day.

Another amazing wedding on Saturday. Molly and Ryan tied the knot at the beautiful Zenith Vineyard, just outside Salem, Oregon. It was a very fun day overall, working with Eric John (photographer) and Katie. Here’s a little trailer we put together from the day.
