WHY DO YOU HAVE STUDIOS IN OREGON AND NEW YORK?
Good question. We were getting quite a few inquiries from brides on the east coast who found us through online searches, but the travel was somewhat of an issue when it came down to it. It’s been our goal to eventually get a studio set up on the east coast, and earlier this spring an opportunity came up for one of our cinematographers and editors, Ryan Rossman, to relocate there and provide the high level of wedding films to the east coast bride as well.
WHAT IS THE SAME DAY EDIT?
The Same Day Edit is edited much like a Short Feature – creative and artistic. The main difference is that the Same Day Edit (SDE) is produced on-location (we bring along a full-time editor) and shown at your reception just hours after your ceremony is complete. This is a huge crowd favorite. It truly brings your guests into your entire wedding day. You’ll receive one DVD to take with you from the reception. Later that week, we’ll make some minor edits to your Same Day Edit (things we just couldn’t do given the deadline) and mail you the DVDs before you return from your honeymoon (unless you’re gone for less than a week).
WHAT IS A ‘LOVE STORY’ VIDEO?
The Love Story is a great way for your wedding guests to get to know you as a couple better. We sit down and interview you months before the wedding. We ask fun questions about how you met, what you love about each other, how did the proposal go….stuff like that. We take that footage, along with still photos from your ‘growing up’ years and incorporate them into an edit that plays at the reception. The Love Story helps give background to this special day.
WHAT IS ‘COVERAGE’?
Coverage is the amount of time we’ll be present at the event. The earlier we are there, the more time we’ll have to capture the essence of the location, the preparation and the emotion of the pre-ceremony events. It also gives us more options in the editing room and gives you a better wedding film.
WHAT IS UNCUT FOOTAGE?
Uncut footage includes all the footage from your day. Raw and unedited, you can scroll through every detail, blooper or moment you may have missed. Chapter markers are included every 5 minutes for easy viewing.
WHAT ABOUT NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL?
We travel any where in the world to capture your wedding.
If you’re getting married in Oregon: Travel to destinations in Oregon will not require an additional fee.
If you’re getting married in New York: Travel to destinations within 25 miles of Brooklyn, New York will not require an additional feed.
